Wally Jones is a first-time author and avid reader. He is also fully dyslexic.
In his mid-twenties, and after years of testing, it was discovered that Wally lacks the tools to decode and encode words. In other words, he cannot read or write. After years of struggling, he compensated and built an extensive sight vocabulary which allows him more “normal” functionality. Writing is still problematic for him, but Sam the Chosen serves as his testament that all challenges can be overcome.
