Author Bios: Bobbi Phelps

Bobbi Phelps grew up in Connecticut. Following graduation from the University of California at Berkeley, she became an international flight attendant, taking troops to Europe and the Orient, including Vietnam during the height of the war.

Bobbi started the Angler’s Calendar and Catalog Companies in 1975. In 1993 her calendar company won Exporter of the Year for the State of Idaho (small business category).

Bobbi was a twenty-year member of the Outdoor Writers Association of America, a nine-year Idaho board member for The Nature Conservancy, an Arnold Gingrich Writers recipient from Fly Fishers International, a top writing award winner from Literary Titans, and a gold medalist from Feathered Quill Book Reviews. She has written seven books.

She married Larry Chapman and moved from Idaho to Tennessee. The Authors Guild of Tennessee voted her twice for president starting in 2015.
