Ana Maria López Jimeno, born in Puerto Rico, lives in Toledo (Spain) and has a BA in Arabic & Islam and a Certificate of English from the Language Department of Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Owner of a private language academy for 40 years, she teaches Spanish, English and Arabic. She has designed the Language Learning System Lexiway® and the Graphic Grammar, and is the founder of Lexiway® Online, a platform for language teachers. Lexiway® has been used as an Express Emergency Course for teaching Spanish to immigrants and refugees hosted by the Red Cross and other NGOs. Author of the award-winning book Vademecum of English. A Complete Reference Guide for Teachers and Learners, she is currently preparing her Doctorate thesis in Language Didactics in the Education Faculty at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid while lecturing about Didactics and Pedagogy in congresses and universities all over Europe.
