Are you having one of those days? One of those days where nothing seems to be going right? Maybe your boss is being unreasonable, your car has been acting up or perhaps your kids were a bit, er, rambunctious as you sent them off to school this morning. Whatever the reason, if you’re down and need a pick-me-up, get a copy of I Just Can’t Take It Anymore! You’ll be laughing in no time flat.
Author Anthony DeStefano offers an uplifting look at life and what God has planned for each of us through the pages of this book. With wonderful, often humorous photographs of children paired with text that reads true, the reader will see that his/her life really isn’t that bad and that He has bigger plans for each of us. First the author lays out the things that might be going wrong in your life, for example:
- A boy with a priceless expression scooping up, um, doggie doo with the caption, “I hate my job.”
-A young girl sitting at her lemonade stand in the middle of winter with the caption, “I have a knack for making the wrong business decisions.”
We all have to wonder, if God is testing us. But then the author shows us some of the beautiful things He shares with us and suddenly those little things that have been bothering us don't seem so bad.
Reading this book, there’s no doubt you will identify with the photos and captions and realize that we all have challenges to overcome. You will also see how we can all face those challenges head on if only we put our faith and trust in Him. This is a book that will leave you laughing and realizing that your kids may drive you nuts on occasion, but you’re blessed to have such beautiful children.
