When the Senior VP, Charles Rawlson, and the soon-to-be CEO, Mark Asbury, of Amertec Electronics leave Ronald Reagan Washington Airport, they never imagine their lives and their family’s lives will forever be changed, but that is exactly what happens in Guidance To Death by Daniel Meier.

Due to bad weather and extremely low visibility, the executives' plane takes off and soon begins having serious malfunctions. The pilot tries correcting the situation, but unfortunately, the plane crashes, and out of the two executives and the pilot, there are no survivors. Charles’ wife, Helen, feels her husband and the others were murdered, so she decides to hire Frank Adams, an Accident Investigative Consultant, to get some answers. Frank is retired from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), so who better to hire than someone who knows the ins and outs of planes and flight rules. Frank is hesitant to take the case, but decides to help Helen out. Little does he know, his life will never be the same after starting this investigation. What does Frank find out while he starts digging for the true answers to what happened to this flight? Does Frank find out if the passengers were truly murdered or was it just a freak accident due to bad weather?

When Frank starts to investigate the possibility of these three men being murdered, he doesn’t realize just how deep he will have to dig to get the answers he needs. Hitting roadblock after roadblock, he quickly regrets taking this case. And while things don’t seem as cut and dry as everyone is making it out to be, Frank knows he must pull as many strings as possible to find out what really happened to these men that fateful night. At first, he truly believes that Helen is overreacting about her husband being murdered, but as the information starts coming in about the company and just what truly was going on behind the scenes at Amertec Electronics, Frank knows this investigation is going to be a messy one that may very well put his own life in danger.

As readers turn the pages to this intense novel by Meier, they will be taken along on a suspenseful journey. There are so many twists and turns throughout Guidance To Death that readers will find themselves gripping onto their books or e-readers a bit more excitedly than usual. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself wiggling in your seat as some of the nerve-racking scenes unfold before your eyes. Right from the start, readers will be taken on a rollercoaster ride as each new lead is found, each new suspect is interviewed, and I suspect your heart will be pounding in your chest as you turn the pages and follow along with Frank during this complicated investigation.
