Michelle Blackbird writes under a pen name. She is the author of three children's novels: A Time to Wait, Wish You Were Here (an homage to Anne Frank) and the novelette Where the Songbird Sings. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education with Honours. A retired ESL teacher, she has a passion for the written word. Michelle has lived in Australia and England, and is married with one daughter.
