Weibel is a lifelong equestrian with a successful career spanning more than 30 years as a journalist and public relations professional. She researched and published her first non-fiction book, The Cleveland Grand Prix: An American Show Jumping First, in 2014 with The History Press/Arcadia. A resident of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Weibel has volunteered with Fieldstone Farm Therapeutic Riding Center since its early evolution in the 1990s, first promoting the groundbreaking for a new center in Bainbridge and later serving on its Board of Trustees. This involvement led to publishing Little Victories: A True Story of the Healing Power of Horses.
Kathy Alm, CEO, Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International
“This book is a testament to the power of the horse and the strength and determination of therapeutic horsemanship participants. Lives are changed and enriched each day through equine-assisted activities and therapies and this story demonstrates that beautifully.”

“This is a moving, emotional story. The horses are impressive and so is the woman’s strength. She teaches how to find faith and believe through her own heart and with the help of her 4-legged friends.”
Andrea and Jim Thome – Author and Cleveland Indians Hall of Famer
“Great ideas are born out of adversity, at least in the case of Fieldstone Farm TRC. Reading Little Victories will inspire you to do what you can to make the world a little easier for someone else. This is an inspirational story about an incredible organization.”
